Columbia Falls police arrested a 15-year old female and transported her to juvenile detention after she assaulted a family member just after midnight Thursday.

Just before 9 a.m., Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to an arcing electric wire at the Dollar Store.

An 11 year-old girl was caught shoplifting at the Pamida store. She was released to her parents.

Officers responded to reports of two boys at Columbia Falls Junior High School who were runaways from a Kalispell group home.
