A 20-year-old Kalispell man died Sunday evening in a vehicle rollover on Helena Flats Road.
Branden Frey was driving a Mitsubishi passenger car north of the Presentine fishing access when it left the road and appeared to flip, possibly end over end several times, according to Deputy Coroner Brad Stahlberg of the Flathead County sheriff's office.
Frey was ejected and died at the scene. It didn't appear he was wearing a seat belt, Stahlberg said.
Three passengers suffered minor injuries. One was flown by ALERT helicopter to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Evergreen and Kalispell fire departments also responded, along with Montana Highway Patrol.
Stahlberg said alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the accident, but speed was.
