Clarence Ernest Putnam, 94

Clarence Ernest Putnam was born on Sept. 13, 1910, to Ernest and Ellen Putnam in McKenzie County, N.D. He "went to be with Jesus" on Friday, April 8, 2005, at the age of 94 years, six months and 29 days.

Clarence was a farmer and painter by trade. He farmed until 1989. He then sold his farms and retired.

Clarence is survived by his wife of more than 70 years, Mabel; daughter, DeAnna and, son-in-law, Marty Pedrick; three nieces, Phyllis Nichols, Omae Wolf and Ellen Hart; one nephew, Donald Gene Julian; and numerous friends in many states.

Clarence was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister, and also his halfsister.

Clarence never met a stranger and had no enemies, He was a beautiful husband, a fantastic father, a special uncle and a wonderful friend to many. May he rest safely in heaven with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, as well as his family and friends.

"Daddy, we all loved you so much and will all miss you, but we all know you are happy to be in the arms of Jesus. We will always be thankful for the influence that you had on so many people. Rest safely forever and enjoy your reward for all the good things you did while you were with us all. We love you and will miss you, but you will never be forgotten."

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, Ariz. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at Bunker's Garden Chapel.
