Kalispell police officers investigated a report from a woman who alleged money was stolen from her purse while she was visiting a patient at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Money was also reported stolen from a purse of an employee at Flathead Valley Community College. The complaint was dropped after someone returned the money.

An unruly gang of dogs caused a commotion running through traffic near Dairy Queen on Monday. Officers nabbed the lab with a green collar but the boxer and pit bull made a clean getaway.

A concerned citizen notified officers of a heavy-set person carrying a bunch of stuffed animals, water bottles and small bags with "stuff" falling out on 12th Street East on Monday.

A resident of Buffalo Hill Terrace complained that his wife's purse was stolen from a cabinet in their apartment.

Police were alerted that a car was ransacked on Eighth Street West Monday. The owner said the thief took $40 and about 20 CDs.
