Whitefish police checked out a man at Holiday Inn Express who aroused suspicion by saying odd things about money and buffalo skulls in his backpack, and how many dead people he has seen. Officers learned that he is wanted on a warrant for assault from Washington and arrested him.

Bears got into trash on Sandbagger Lane and got attention on Wisconsin Avenue and Colorado Avenue.
