Whitefish police were called to Central Avenue on Monday evening when horses were found tied up outside the Remington bar.

They were found to be OK outside the corral but made a mess in the street. The owner was given a shovel and was told to clean up and then take the animals home.

Officers took reports of vandalism at a construction site at Riverside Park and at the high school, where a vehicle window broken Saturday night was reported Monday.

A caller reported a disturbance on Foothill Road where a man hollered at people for speeding, but the caller said no one was speeding. However, a vehicle did hit a four-wheeler that pulled out onto the road, but no one was hurt.

On River Road, deputies told a mother that children cannot ride their go-carts on the roadway.

A little boy at Ridgewood Terrace was just playing when he reportedly threatened other children with a sword.

A man wanted officers to know that his estranged wife took his guns on Whitefish Stage Road and also threw his glasses and his keys into the woods and damaged paint on his vehicle.

Weapons were stolen from a motor home on U.S. 2 in Hungry Horse.

It was almost 2 a.m. when a man reported two boys and a girl acting suspiciously in a car in Evergreen. A black gun reportedly fell out of the car.

People created a party spot above Berne Park, where they made swings and otherwise staked out property owned by the Forest Service.

There is a suspect in a tire slashing on Montana 35. A gate was damaged on Labrant Road.

A woman who rented a room to her nephew in Hungry Horse asked for help removing him Monday.

Kalispell police took a report from First Avenue East North where a resident said a drunken man riding a bike appeared and walked into the house. Later, there were signs of a forced entry to the garage.

Swarming bees were reported on Fifth Avenue East; water hoses were used to disperse them or to illustrate the expression of "madder than a wet hornet."

Vandalism was reported on South Woodland Drive, Fifth Avenue East, and Fifth Street West, where eggs were hurled.

A family disturbance arose at the Justice Center over a child exchange between parents. A woman said a couple harassed her at Michael's convenience store.

Items were stolen from a vehicle on Camelot Drive. A theft from a construction site was reported at Sunset Court.

Columbia Falls police took a report of harassment at Eddy Court.

Kalispell fire department had 11 calls. One was to River Road and U.S. 2 Sunday, when a 39-year-old woman was hurt in a collision between a bike and a vehicle. Evergreen fire department and Montana Highway Patrol also responded. No one was hurt at a crash on Main Street Sunday evening, but a man reportedly suffered a heart attack after a wreck on U.S. 93 South Monday. South Kalispell fire department was also there.

Evergreen fire department was called to East Reserve Drive Sunday afternoon, where a fence was on fire.

Badrock fire department went to a line sparking on Columbia Mountain Sunday evening. Later, the crew was called to a transformer tower fire in the same are.

Bigfork fire department went to a fire Monday morning at the trash-container site on Montana 83.
