Whitefish police took a report from a Park Avenue women who said someone called her and claimed to be her neighbor years ago. The woman was skeptical. Maybe she heard about how many supposedly long-lost neighbors have turned up in the Flathead Valley recently, calling elderly people in what police believe is the making of a scam.
