Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a man Thursday night for allegedly assaulting a skateboarder on Central Avenue.

A 20-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

A bear on East Lakeshore Drive made a parent uneasy when it was time for kids to go to the bus stop. Children playing on a train in the rail yard couldn't be found. Someone was upset about other youths hitting golf balls into the lake.

A burglary is under investigation.
