John Lewis Otis, 78

John Lewis Otis, 79, a former resident of Kalispell and a Korean War veteran, passed away July 28, 2005, at his home in Eureka.

John was born near Billings, to Leamon E. and wife, Nora (Hall) Otis, on Oct. 8, 1925.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Fay Fine; brothers, Leamon Jr., Earl, and an infant brother, Patty.

He is survived by a son, John M., daughter-in-law, Nancy, and three grandsons, all of Blaine, Wash.; four sisters, Lucille Biegler of Eureka, Ruth Adams of Kalispell, Jessie Lauman of Windlock, Wash., and Tiny Levitt of Columbia Falls.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
