The Kalispell Fire Department had six calls. One was to a vehicle accident on Third Avenue East North Thursday; no one was seriously hurt.

The Smith Valley Fire Department wasn't able to locate a bon fire reported at Haywire Gulch on Wednesday.

The Evergreen Fire Department went to Tri-City Wednesday for a fuel spill. About 10 gallons was spilled, possibly by a retreaded tire that separated and punctured a vehicle's gas tank.

The Whitefish Fire Department and Department of Natural Resources and Conservation checked out smoke reported on Glenwood.

Columbia Falls ambulance and Fire Department went to a sawdust pile burning Wednesday behind American Towing.

The Creston Fire Department was needed at a slash pile burning on Montford Road.

The West Valley Fire Department was summoned to the west side of Bowser Lake, where tree roots were smoldering.
