Kathy Lee Prescott, 48

Kathy Lee Prescott, 48, passed away Aug. 1, 2005, at her home in Kalispell.

Kathy's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and fishing. She has many friends across Montana, as she has lived in Havre, Red Lodge, Nashua, Cut Bank, Valier, Great Falls and Helena.

Kathy was born Oct. 1, 1956 in Redding, Calif., and lived in Kansas before moving home to Poplar. She was a member of the Assiniboin tribe. She married Johnnie Martinez in 1983, and they divorced in 1992.

Kathy was a fun-loving person who loved to laugh. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.

Kathy is survived by her three children, Carrie Anderson of Kalispell, Terrie Holland of Palmer, Alaska, and Matt Martinez of Great Falls; four grandchildren, Alexis, Dalton, and Kaymee of Kalispell, and Kaleb of Palmer; her father, James Meredith of Glasgow; two brothers, Mike of Nashua and Sonny of Fletcher, N.C.; and one sister, Alice, of Nebraska.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 5, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
