Kalispell Police

The Kalispell Police Department was busy with people sleeping around town. Unacceptable sleep sites included an area near the restrooms at Depot Park, on the boulevard by Cogar's Coffee on U.S. 93, and in a vehicle on Seventh Avenue West.

A resident on Greatview Drive is concerned about a roommate who didn't come home after a night at the Blue Moon saloon.

At the Alano Club, someone voiced obscenities and tried to start a fight. Two men were arrested and one was bloodied after a fight by the library.

Tires were slashed on Rosewood Drive. An officer counseled a boy who smashed a glass bottle on the tennis court on Liberty Street. More glass breaking was reported in a parking lot by Flathead Travel.

Someone loaded a couple of shopping carts from Smith's into the back of a truck and sped away; one was recovered when it bounced out.

A neighbor reportedly made threats on Liberty Street. Harassing calls were reported on Fifth Avenue East North.

A pawn shop reported getting a gun that is listed as stolen. A gas tank and fender were reported stolen from Montana Harley-Davidson. A resident said a neighbor has been stealing his property for a year; now, a riding lawn mower is missing. A business reported a possible internal theft.

A transient on Airport Road kept herself company with a monologue but worried people around her.
