Kalispell police

Kalispell police took a host of reports from people suspicious about other people.

A man lying at the edge of an alley on 10th Avenue East was only waiting for friends. A tent came and went on the property of National Flood Service. Someone hid rebar cutters and took sand bags from SMI Masonry Supply. A suspicious-looking package at the library turned out to be a stick wrapped in duct tape.

Threats were reported on 14th Street East. An assault was reported on 18th Street East.

An adult bull moose was left to his own business at Dry Gulch Park.

An officer counseled a baby sitter on Sixth Street West about why it's not safe to let small children play in a bucket of water.

Two youths were arrested for curfew violation. A man on First Avenue West was charged with his second DUI.

A sexual assault was reported in town.

A man who was out of jail on his own recognizance was charged anew with a burglary and drug possession.

A woman said a man shut her leg in a door when they exchanged custody of a child Friday.
