Larry G. Lambert, 58

Larry C. Lambert, 58, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at his home in Columbia Falls.

He was born Feb. 6, 1947, in Livingston to Clifford H. and Novia A. Lambert. He was raised and educated in Livingston.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968, including a tour in Vietnam.

After he was discharged from the Army, he returned to Livingston where he went to work for the Northern Pacific Railroad. He was later transferred to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in Whitefish, where he worked until the time of his death.

He loved to fish and travel with his wife to Oregon. He loved deep sea fishing and his family. He collected dragon statues of all sorts. He liked drag racing cars and enjoyed going to Las Vegas when possible to show the states to his wife.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Clifford H. Lambert, on July 26, 2005.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, E. JoAnne Lambert of Columbia Falls; his mother, Novia A. Lambert; a step-daughter, Holly O'Dell; a step-son, Jack Davis; two sisters, Donna Chenowith and Jan Van Gorp of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews, cousins, and five grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. No services will be held. His ashes will be scattered later in Oregon.

Arrangements are with the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.
