Arlene Francis Skare, 72

Arlene Francis Skare, 72, passed away Saturday Aug. 13, 2005, at her home in Creston. She was born July 7, 1933, in Wolf Point to Francis and Esther Paulson. She moved to the Flathead Valley when she was very young, and attended schools in the Flathead Valley.

She married Allen Skare on Sept. 28, 1952, at the Epworth United Methodist Church in Kalispell. They moved to the Creston Area in 1969, where they have lived ever since.

After raising five children, she went to work as a bookkeeper for several years. She enjoyed knitting and crafts.

Arlene was preceded in death by her father and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Allen, of Creston; five children, Daniel and his wife, May Skare, of Wichita, Kan., and Sharon, Francine, David and Rebecca Skare, all of Kalispell.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Epworth United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dave Merkel officiating.
