D. Sharon (Britt) Rios, 65

D. Sharon (Britt) Rios, 65, of Bigfork died of cancer Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005. Sharon was born Sept. 23, 1939, in Billings and raised in Roundup.

After having her children, Sharon decided to go back to school and become a nurse. She took her training in Billings. After completing her training, she moved to Broadus to work in the nursing home.

In 1987, she moved to Kalispell where she retired.

Sharon was a kind and caring person who was always there to help out. As a mother, she was the greatest; as a sister, always loving, even though we had faults. Sharon will be greatly missed. She left a lasting impression on all those she met.

She was preceded in death by her father, John R. Britt; and brothers, Ricky Britt and Ross Britt.

Sharon is survived by her mother, Evelyn Kile, of Kalispell; two sons, Joe Watkins and Trevor Elmore, both of Kalispell; three daughters, Mary Lou Olszewski of Reno, Nev., Danielle Haverman of Fortine, and Dusty Elmore of Bigfork; three sisters, Judy Mayson of Boulder City, Nev., and Pat Meznarich and Pamela Britt, both of Kalispell; four brothers, Randy Britt of Washington, Rian Britt of Kalispell, Curtis Kile of Spokane, and Wayne Britt of Kalispell; five grandchildren of Kalispell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be today, Aug. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m., with rosary at 7 p.m. at Buffalo Hill Mortuary. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Risen Christ Parish, 65 West Evergreen Drive.

Memorials are suggested to the Hospice Care in Kalispell. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
