Kalispell police

| August 17, 2005 1:00 AM

Kalispell police had a number of reports of people acting suspiciously. Among them was a man who was staring and unresponsive outside of Gateway West Cinema on Monday evening, a man found lying on the sidewalk in front of a daycare center on Mission Street and a disoriented woman on Fourth Avenue West. A woman who prompted suspicion in a vehicle outside the hospital was only there because her husband was having surgery.

The glowing items thrown and shattered in the parking lot at Edgerton School were found to be solar garden lights. There was no explanation for why they were assassinated in the parking lot. A window was shattered on Main Street. A water pipe was dug up on Leisure Drive.

An internal theft is suspected at a business. Someone broke into Kids Playground on West Idaho Street and stole money from a safe. Tools were taken from a construction site at Home Depot. A stolen $10 watch was returned to a boy on Liberty Street.

A man on South Main Street thought he was being followed.

Four 15-year-olds were charged with alcohol possession. Yelling and screaming at about 2 a.m. resulted in charges against a man on Second Avenue East.

Cattle on Meridian Road and Fifth Avenue West North were rounded up.

A bad dog tunneled beneath a fence to get into a neighbor's yard on Eighth Avenue East North, where it was heartily unwelcome.
