Gabriel Allen Brown, 21

Gabriel Allen Brown drowned July 17, 2005, after diving into the south fork of the Flathead River (Devil's Elbow) while on a fishing trip with friends.

Gabriel was born Nov. 2, 1983, at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland to Roger A. Brown and Pamila J. Phelps.

Gabriel grew up and lived in Oregon with his mother and stepfather (Gary Bousquet).

In October 2004, Gabriel moved to Montana to live with his father.

Gabriel was working as a drywall hanger with Hung Well Drywall in Kalispell.

Gabriel loved dancing and was exceptional at it. He also had a strong interest in becoming an automotive technician.

Gabriel loved many activities involving four-wheelers, motorcycles and automobiles. Other interests included swimming and fighting.

Gabriel is survived by his fiancee, Ashley "Buster" Sudan; mother, Pamila Bousquet, of Bend, Ore.; father, Roger Brown, of Kalispell; siblings, Michelle (location unknown); Danica Blackmore of St. Helens, Ore.; EchoTanae and LakoyaShanae Brown of Kalispell; stepmother, Renee Moreau, of Kalispell; two nieces and two nephews (location unknown); grandparents, Paul and Wanda Brown, of St. Helens; and grandparents, Richard and Judy Phelps, of Scappoose, Ore.

Gabriel was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gary Bousquet.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 20, at the Columbia Falls Seventh-day Adventist Church, 269 Second Ave. E. N., in Columbia Falls.
