An alleged burglar was caught in the act Wednesday night at Badger Building Center on U.S. 2. The owner reported a gray-haired man in a white shirt outside at 11:30 p.m. He called the Flathead County Sheriff's Office for help. Deputies discovered Thomas Devine, 63, reportedly stacking plywood siding next to a fence, with his pickup parked outside. They chased him and he tripped and fell, according to Undersheriff Mike Meehan. He was arrested and charged with theft, trespassing and obstructing an officer.

Threats were reported on Stoner Creek Road and Montana 26. Obscenities were expressed with enthusiasm on Alpine Drive. Harassing calls were reported on Potter Creek Road. Trespassing was reported on Wright Way. A couple argued on Seville Lane.

On Electric Avenue, a man allegedly grabbed a woman by the arms when she was closing a business. Bystanders reportedly pulled him off of her.

At Angel Point, a resident found items in trees that he thought were listening devices. They turned out to be bug killers.

Break-ins were reported at a storage unit in Evergreen and on U.S. 2. A house was vandalized on Eighth Avenue East south of Kalispell.

Cash was stolen on U.S. 93 north. A PlayStation and a backpack were stolen on Lakeside Boulevard.

A porch light that was shot out, restricted phone calls, and dogs acting funny have made a resident on U.S. 93 uneasy.

A troublesome man at Bigfork Stage Stop reportedly wouldn't leave and "keeps urinating all over the place" in front of customers.
