The Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a call from a woman who said she'd gone into a store with $20 in her hand and it fell somewhere. She went home and called the store, where the clerk said the money hadn't been found. The woman wanted the clerk charged with theft.

A person seen wrapped in a blanket on U.S. 93 near Carpenter's Arena caused concern for a passer-by. The witness couldn't tell whether the person was young or old, male or female, or even alive or dead. A deputy found the person, along with his sleeping bag and guitar. He'd gotten tired of hitchhiking Thursday night and decided to stop where he was. The deputy gave him a ride.

A man was arrested after a report that he beat up a woman on Dale Drive. Another was charged with the same offense on Parliament Drive. A man was arrested on a warrant after a report of underage drinking in Hungry Horse.

Among the people who were reported lost and found was a 12-year-old girl near the animal shelter, hikers on Upper Dam Road, and a 3-year-old boy in Lakeside.

A man on Trumble Creek Road became unwanted when he reportedly took a woman's purse and abused her.

A bat found flopping on a deck on Lodgepole Drive raised concerns about rabies.

On Helena Flats Road, two tires were flattened Wednesday, and lights were taken from around the house Thursday.

The man shining a light into a vehicle in the middle of the night seemed suspicious, but he was only checking it out as a gift for his daughter. A driver was spotlighting and shooting at 2 a.m. on Twin Bridges Road.

There were two complaints of a truck dragging a llama down the road on Montana 209.

The noise from a couple who fought and threw things on Holt Drive resulted in a visit from a deputy.

A man was arrested for rape. A woman was arrested for three counts of theft and resisting arrest.
