Kalispell police

| August 20, 2005 1:00 AM

Things not to explain to police when they're called to a disturbance at your house: "He was trying to take my pot."

Kalispell police also counseled a group of girls who were trying to fight at the fairgrounds. An ambulance was needed there for a woman with a medical problem. A man was warned about having alcohol at the fair.

On Third Avenue East, a resident was concerned about a vehicle that had been parked outside for an hour. It was just a man reading a book while his wife did an astrology reading in a house nearby.

A van full of teenagers flung a cup of ice and pop at a delivery truck on Fifth Avenue West North.

A crowd that gathered outside Albertsons, presumably for a fight, was discouraged from continuing.

An officer had something to say to the reckless driver of a vehicle near the Underpass on Thursday.

A teenager was picked up for a mental-health issue.

A man said his girlfriend assaulted him outside of Sawbuck's.

An assault was reported at Michael's West, too. A disturbance on Second Avenue East was between a mother and son.
