Flathead County Sheriff

Flathead County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a motorized parachute crashing on Pine Bench Road near Columbia Falls Stage Saturday evening. There were minor injuries.

A woman on Trumble Meadows Lane accused her mother of not returning her savings bond.

There was a report of road rage on U.S. 2 near Kila. A man said he had a confrontation with a man in another vehicle who threatened him with a gun.

A man on East Cottonwood Drive said that a truck pulled in and parked down by the river and then turned out its lights. He told officers that it looked like the occupants were "passing a flame around." Turned out the three men inside the vehicle were having engine problems and were waiting for someone to come get them.

The suspicious persons sighted in Columbia Falls early Saturday morning were two women returning from a moonlight bike ride on the Going to the Sun Road.
