Kalispell police sent the animal warden on a couple of catch-and-release projects Thursday. A large animal trapped in the skate park at Woodland Park turned out to be a muskrat that was moved to the lagoon nearby. A squirrel on College Avenue was relocated to Lawrence Park.

A man in a blue Ford truck reportedly pulled out in front of another driver, nearly causing an accident, and then followed her home in a tail-gating, finger-gesturing kind of way. Same kind of thing happened on Second Street West.

The next time that patron at the library makes inappropriate remarks to girls, he can expect a visit from an officer.

Someone reportedly enters a garage on Third Avenue East and moves things around. Equally unwelcome is a man who keeps showing up outside a home on Second Street West. He's described as about 5 feet, 4 inches with a round face, blond hair, sunglasses, and a tape measure on his belt.

The top of a convertible was cut on Birchwood Court, where items were stolen from other vehicles Wednesday. A man found in repose on the sidewalk on Fourth Street West was OK.

There was another complaint about an orange van that says "murder," parked half on the grass and half on the street on Third Street West. It is disabled and the owner promises to move it soon.

Underage drinkers were arrested after a traffic stop on Fourth Street West. A man was charged with endangerment.
