Kalispell police are investigating a report of a teenager who was sexually assaulted in her own bed early Friday morning. The girl told police that she was home alone when she was awakened by an unknown man on top of her. He kept a pillow and blanket over her face so she couldn't see him, she said. She reportedly was not seriously hurt.

A 14-year-old girl who was reported as a runaway was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge on Seventh Avenue West.

On Fifth Avenue East, hostilities between neighbors have intensified to the point that one resident reportedly videotaped a woman getting out of her car Thursday. On the tape is heard the word "Sasquatch." Everyone was counseled to ignore each other.

A group of youths camped out overnight Thursday in the parking lot of the Sportsman Ski Haus were merely waiting for a sale to begin Friday morning. That was OK with everyone.

After a disturbance on West Washington Street, a man was arrested on two warrants and a woman was arrested for obstructing an officer.

It looked suspicious when a fast-food restaurant's doors were closed and locked at about 9:30 Thursday night when the business advertises being open until 3 a.m. People could be seen inside the building. An officer investigated and found that the business closed early because no employees showed up for work.

Disturbances were reported on Merganser, Darlington and Sixth Avenue West.

A man was arrested for DUI on South Main Street.

Vehicles were broken into on Fifth Avenue East. A vehicle window was broken on South Woodland Drive.

There was a theft at the construction site of the new Best Buy.

On Seventh Avenue West, someone called a resident about his large, delinquent cell-phone bill. He said he doesn't have a cell phone.
