Marilyn Conant, 61, died Aug. 20, 2005, in Alaska.

She was born April 28, 1944 in Kalispell, to Roger and Dorothy (Corson) Conant. She grew up on the east shore of Flathead Lake and attended Bigfork public schools.

She spent most of her life after leaving Bigfork, in Alaska.

She is survived by her daughter, Heide Perry, and grandchildren Vincent and Jessa, in Anchorage, and her son, Michael McBroom and Norma, and grandchildren, Sara and Lance of Olney. She is also survived by her sisters, Arlene Heggen and Wayne of Seeley Lake, Janet Goldstein and Larry of Las Vegas, Jeanne Mullen and Leo of Belle, Mo., and Jamie Conant Balli of Missoula, her uncle, Larry Corson of Kalispell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that loved her.

"Marilyn seemed bigger than life, a wonderful lady with no care for many of societies' restraints, who provided us with so much entertainment and many chuckles. We will miss her!"
