Paul Rex Holland, 66

Paul Rex Holland, 66, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2005 in Bigfork.

He was born on Feb. 10, 1939, in Los Angeles, to Paul and Maxine Holland. Rex attended Hollywood High School and graduated from the University of Southern California Business School in 1959, a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

Rex's successful business career spanned numerous decades as vice president of First Interstate Mortgage Banking, president of Carlsburg Corporation, and retired president of Santa Clarita Mortgage Corporation. Prior to his passing, Rex continued his real estate and development interests in California, Oregon and Montana. The nature of the man cultivated lasting friendships with hundreds from all walks of life. "Our memories will live on while he is missed by so many."

Rex will be missed by his beloved wife of 19 years, Linda Goeder Holland; daughter, Nicole and son-in-law, Chip Cash, with their two sons, Max and Kyle; and daughter, Jeanine Shaver.

Funeral services for Rex will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Eternal Valley Mortuary & Memorial Park located at 23287 N. Sierra Highway, Newhall, Calif.
