Whitefish police

Whitefish police had two people arrested on warrants for aggravated assault. A 31-year-old Chinook man was arrested there and a 38-year-old Whitefish man was arrested in Wibaux County. They're accused of severely beating a man in June.

A black bear committed no offenses by crossing Wisconsin Avenue, but a game warden was notified.

The window of a truck topper was shot on Creekview Drive. A copy machine at Central School was vandalized.
