Kalispell police

Kalispell police were visited by a woman Monday who asked to be taken into custody before she hurt her husband, who didn't come home the night before. She vanished before an officer could talk to her.

A Saturday night assault at Fatt Boys bar was reported Monday.

Windows were broken in a vehicle at the mall. Rocks were thrown at windows in a house on Fifth Avenue East for the second time this week.

A woman reported that she left someone named Jim (last name unknown) inside her vehicle while she ran into a restaurant. When she returned, Jim and $50 were both missing from the car. Another woman reported that a man named John (last name also unknown) gave her a ride home from a grocery store. While she was unloading groceries, he reportedly stole her wallet.

A woman on First Avenue East North said that her husband hit her in the face. An officer determined that it was a pillow he struck her with. They separated for the night.

A witness saw a boy steal a stop sign on Fourth Avenue West.

There were several complaints about noise and reckless driving, including an allegedly reckless street-sweeper in a business parking lot.

Boxes were deflowered in an act of vandalism that stemmed from an incident on First Avenue West. Blooms were left in the street.

A boy arrested on a curfew violation at 1:30 a.m. was delivered to his parents.

A resident suspects someone is putting something in his sports drink. Mental-health assistance was called for a woman who believes someone has implanted a chip in her.

At 3 a.m., a South Meridian Road resident reported dogs barking and something in the yard. The something turned out to be a man who got a taxi ride home.

Another intruder was discovered by a janitor at the high school Tuesday morning. The man was wearing a T-shirt and black pants and was playing a harmonica. He was last seen walking towards Elrod School.

At the Eagles, a custom-made tan cowboy hat and a CD was stolen.

The FAA was notified of a jet going 250 knots over a runway against traffic at the city airport.
