Flathead County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the Kila green-box containers for a report that someone had left an entire deer carcass in a dumpster. Officers could only find properly boned-out carcasses.

A 15-year-old boy was first reported as a possible prowler at Cobbler Village, but was later determined to be a runaway juvenile.

A woman on Park Street said her ex-significant other broke into her house and stole her car keys. She was afraid he'd come back, so she called for help. Later she said the man only took an amplifier out of her vehicle.

A family in search of the perfect Christmas tree found one on private property in the Bigfork area. The property owner got a description of the trespassers' vehicle and a license number, but officers hadn't yet caught up with the pine pilferers.
