Whitefish police

Drunk drivers kept Whitefish police busy. They arrested a 21-year-old Kalispell man for DUI and no insurance.

A fight erupted between two men at Casey's bar. One of the men, age 21, was arrested for assault. The other man apparently sustained a head injury but refused medical help.

A 19-year-old Whitefish man was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol, and was also charged in a hit-and-run incident. He didn't have vehicle insurance, either, and was cited for that, too.

A passerby smelled chemical odors on Texas Avenue, but all the police could detect was wood smoke.
