Flathead County Sheriff

| December 11, 2005 1:00 AM

There have been several reports of elusive livestock in Flathead County the last few days.

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were twice unable to locate a cow that was strolling down Montana 35 south of Bigfork late Friday night. Some mules and/or horses walking down Half Moon Road early Saturday morning eluded capture as well.

A couple of reports of animal negligence proved to be unfounded.

Some people in a Dodge truck were harassing a woman on Birch Grove Road. They ran over her fence and were snooping around her car.

A disagreement about whether people can hunt on or near a game reserve near Conrad Drive was turned over to the Montana Fish and Game Department.

Someone had a scooter stolen in the Meadow Lakes area on Saturday. They thought the pizza delivery driver took it.
