Church hosts piano concert

The Rev. Dave Merkel will perform a piano and vocal concert at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Epworth United Methodist Church, 329 Second Ave. E., in Kalispell.

The public is welcome to attend. Donations of cash and nonperishable food will be appreciated for Habitat for Humanity and the Flathead Food Bank.

Christmas fest at Armed Forces Reserve Center

Come to the 16th annual Christmas at Our House today at the new Armed Forces Reserve Center, 2989 U.S. 93 N., in Kalispell.

Dinner will be served from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is sponsored by the 495th Transportation Battalion, 639th CS Company, and the local Montana Army National Guard and National Guard recruiters.

Santa Claus will be on hand from 1 to 3 p.m. with gifts for the children.

Surplus military winter clothing will be available through the Northwest Montana Veterans Stand Down.
