Joyce Elaine Arnold, 82

Joyce Elaine Arnold, 82, passed away Dec. 19, 2005, at Heritage Place in Kalispell. She was born in Seneca, S.D., on Feb. 26, 1923, to Clifford and Selma Slasor. The family moved to Polson, where she attended and graduated from high school.

She moved to Seattle in 1941 where she worked as a bookkeeper.

In 1942, she met her one and only love, Thomas Eugene Arnold. They were married Aug. 10, 1942.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Peter.

Joyce is survived by one brother, Wayne Slasor, of Vancouver, Wash.; and three sons, Jim Arnold of Columbia Falls, Tom Arnold of Kalispell, and Hayes Arnold of Kalispell; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 603 S. Main St., in Kalispell.
