Michael Ray Helms, 52

Michael Ray Helms, 52, of Kalispell, passed from this life peacefully and beautifully Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, after a year- long courageous battle with cancer.

He was a loving husband and father. He was a charitable giver of his time and a best friend to all he met.

Michael was an avid outdoorsman, lover of live music, avid golfer, and loyal supporter and fan of his beloved Oklahoma Sooners and Montana Grizzlies.

He is survived in death by his loving and loyal wife, Gaylene; daughter, Fawn; mother, Margaret Jean Helms; brother, Randy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Special thanks from the family go out to all of his loving friends, doctors and caregivers who were there for him throughout his lifelong journey of faith.

May he rest in peace and be with his father, Raymond Luther Helms, and grandparents who predeceased him in life.
