Pamela 'Pam' J. Johnson, 51
Pamela "Pam" J. Johnson, 51, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, surrounded by her loving family after suffering with pulmonary fibrosis for four years.
She was born in Spokane, on July 27, 1954, to John and Dorothy Gaffney. She attended local schools there graduating from high school in 1972.
Pam met the love of her life, Jake Johnson, while he was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base. They later married on July 31, 1973, and moved to Columbia Falls, in 1975.
Pam was a loving and caring person who touched many lives. She loved to cross-stitch, communicate through e-mails with her many friends around the world and spend quality time laughing and sharing memories with friends and family. She also enjoyed the special times she had with her son, Eric.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with sister-in-law, Sharon Kingston.
Pam is survived by her husband, Jake, of Columbia Falls; son, Eric and Bonnie of Kalispell; brother, Steve Gaffney and Debbie of Lincoln City, Ore.; sisters, Teri Kallas and Jim of Spokane, Shirley Alexander, Judy Roberg, Dolly Collachi, and Penny Howell; mother-in-law, Wilma Shupe of Butte; sisters-in-law, Rose Shea and Dan and Georgia King and Chris of Butte, and Della Shupe and Dottie Nichols of Phoenix; and brother-in-law, Ted Shupe and Evelyn of Butte. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends also survive her.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 31, for all of her family and friends at the Johnson's residence, 164 Falcon Lane, Columbia Falls. A potluck will follow the service.
