Suzie Sorenson, 54

Suzie Sorenson was born in 1948 in Texas and raised in Swan Lake by her parents, Adolf and Elaine Kopp, with sisters, Marion, Lisa and Cindy.

Suzie traveled back and forth from Colorado, Arizona and Montana with her husband, Curtis Abbott, who was always there for her.

A talented, creative artist, she could take something ordinary and make it beautiful.

She was cherished by her daughters, Kerrie, Ranette and Jessica; and son, Ehren; and loved by grandchildren, William, Jesire, Johnathan, Asha, Joshua and Caydence, who was born one week before she passed on.

Suzie died in her sleep on Jan. 19, 2005, at age 54, and will be remembered by friends and family as a vibrant, fiercely loving and loved woman who couldn't be brought down.

"Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite; if they do, hit 'em with a shoe. We love you this much!"

Cremation has taken place. Suzie's ashes will be scattered in Swan Lake in the spring.
