Kalispell police

Kalispell police took a report of a driver slumped over the wheel of a truck at the entrance to Gateway Cinema. Shortly afterward, someone else reported the driver as drunk, jumping curbs and swerving in and out of traffic. Police stopped it and found a sober, but very tired, elderly woman, and gave her a ride home.

Two other drivers were charged with assault.

A man said that items were missing from his wife's purse after he gave a woman a ride home from the food bank.

Intruders entered a house on College Avenue.

Police learned of a man living in a camper on Seventh Avenue West. That's not legal.

An assault was reported at Noon's, where no one wanted to press charges, but a man was arrested on warrants. A man was cited after urinating in public.

The hospital reported a patient who had been reportedly assaulted. Police found the suspect may have assaulted several people, but no one wanted to sign a statement.

A teenage boy was charged with possession of alcohol and tobacco, and obstructing an officer at Michael's Exxon. Two girls on Fifth Avenue West North were charged with a curfew violation at 1:30 a.m.

Disturbances were reported on Fourth Street West, and at the Outlaw Inn. No fight materialized as projected at Woodland Park. A teen driver yelled obscenities after nearly hitting another car head-on Thursday on East California Street.
