Gayle Loraine Kolden, 54, passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, while in the presence of her family.

She was born Nov. 12, 1950, in Clovis, N.M., to Jack Fish and Clarice Imsland. After spending a short time in New Mexico her family moved to North Dakota and then to Columbia Falls.

Gayle went on to marry the love of her life, Richard Allen Kolden. The two met at a dance at the Whitefish Armory, and married in 1970. The two offered each other a true love, something others seldom find and most can only dream of.

Gayle was devoted to her family and shared her passion, love and understanding with her husband, children, grandchild, brothers, sister, parents, and all of her extended family. In 2000, she became "Grammy" to a very special little boy whom she cherished more than anything.

Gayle is survived by her husband, Richard; three sons, Brady, Jereme, and Brian; grandson, Kodie; daughter-in-law, Carey; two brothers, Leonard and Wade; sister, Myrna; father, Jack Fish; mother, Clarice Imsland; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and an extended family reaching far and wide.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 16, at Buffalo Hills Funeral Home in Kalispell. A potluck reception will be held immediately following at the home of Wade and Penny Fish, located at 5710 U.S. 93 S., Whitefish.

The family suggests memorials be made to Flathead Hospice, 175 Commons Loop, Ste. 100, Kalispell, MT 59901.

Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
