Kalispell police

Kalispell police investigated when someone saw a man walking between Tidyman's and the Dollar Store, carrying an ax and taking pictures of buildings and trees. He turned out to be a surveyor.

Threatening mail was reported on West Railroad Street. Police talked to a suspect after a woman reported getting harassing calls.

Three men were seen jumping a fence at Meridian Storage, but nothing appeared to have been disturbed.

A traffic stop on Liberty Street resulted in a 16-year-old girl being arrested on warrants and a 32-year-old man charged with felony theft. He was also wanted on warrants.

A portable toilet was blown up at a construction site on Commons Way.

A purse containing credit cards, checkbooks and $2,000 was turned in at Rosauer's and returned to its owner.

A wood-burning tool was stolen from the ALERT helicopter hangar. A loaned 1989 Chevy truck wasn't returned to its owner on Liberty Street.

Three people reported a goose on the loose on North Meridian Road.

Trespassing was reported at the junior high school.

A couple was separated after airing their disagreements at Cattlemen's bar.

Computer software was stolen on Liberty Street.
