Kalispell fire department had 14 calls. Wednesday evening, the ambulance crew took a man to the hospital when he suffered a medical problem at the police department's booking area. Smoke in a home on Appleway Drive after midnight was caused by burned food. Someone with a medical problem went to the hospital from Tri-City Quick Stop. Vehicle accidents were reported on Third Avenue West and on U.S., where highway patrol and Smith Valley fire department also responded to a head-on accident with no injuries. A woman who fell at a church on West California Street went to the hospital.
