Flathead County Sheriff's Office deputies visited some children after a report that they harass other children at a bus stop near Columbia Falls. Throwing rocks and calling dirty names were ruled out as interaction in the future.

A report of a man spaying a cat without anesthesia turned out to be a practical joke, without humor.

Assaults were reported at Wal-Mart and at Bigfork High School.

An unwelcome man at a home on Hodgson Road agreed to move on for the night. A man was arrested at a domestic disturbance on Seville Lane. An unwelcome woman was reported at a home on Creston Road.

A witness reported seeing someone shooting from a truck on U.S. 2 near Costco. The truck wasn't found.

Minor damage was reported at a burglary in Hungry Horse. Windows at McDonald's in Evergreen were shot, possibly with a BB gun. Someone deposited dirt in a bank drop box.

A $2,234 forged tax refund was reported at a bank. A unit at Woodland Storage was burglarized.

An Alberta family was quickly reunited after a husband and some children were reported as lost hikers.
