Kalispell police department did their best to help bars, hotels and grocery stores with troublemakers.

A drunken man in the restroom at Albertsons was warned that he'll be charged with trespassing if he returns. A domestic disturbance reported at Smith's was over children. A witness got the license plate number of a vehicle that struck another vehicle in the Finish Line bar parking lot. The owner was tracked to Whitefish. She said she didn't report the accident because she didn't want to be charged with DUI.

At Motel 6, a man was charged with family member assault. Unruly guests at Red Lion were told to quiet down at 2 a.m. At 3:30 a.m., a teenager knocked on doors at the Vacationer Motel, trying to sell a stereo. Right after that, a man was found in the pantry at the Hampton Inn. He said he was looking for his jacket, although the lights were out in the room. He left.

On Seventh Avenue West, a woman said that every time she goes outside, her neighbor's dog barks at her.

Three youths were charged with trespassing on South Woodland Drive. A 17-year-old boy was arrested for DUI on Underpass Hill; two passengers were charged with underage possession of alcohol. A driver on U.S. 2 was charged with his second DUI.

A trumpet was stolen from the wrestling room at the high school. Prescription drugs were stolen from a vehicle at the mall.

Three vehicles were broken into on Second Avenue East North. A door was kicked in on Fifth Avenue East.

Whatever construction materials were dumped on U.S. 93 near Indian Trail Road, they broke into tiny little pieces and presented no traffic hazard.
