Man arrested on drug charges

| February 24, 2005 1:00 AM

A Kalispell man who caused a disturbance at a home on Second Avenue East North was arrested on two counts of distributing methamphetamine.

Robert Dickson, 43, reportedly made threats and refused to leave the home. Police arrived and arrested him on two recent warrants for distribution. He reportedly gave consent for officers to search his home in town. There, according to Kalispell policeman Jim Brenden, officers found paraphernalia used in drug sales.

"I don't know if there will be additional arrests," Brenden said.

The Northwest Drug Task Force obtained a search warrant for Dickson's car, which was impounded when he was arrested.

Brenden said Dickson was known to police before his arrest.

"His name has come up for some time," during the course of drug investigations. "I would say years," Brenden said.
