Eureka stays alive at Western B Divisional

POLSON - Amber Stacy had 12 points and Emmy Bentley 11 as Eureka defeated Arlee 58-37 Friday in consolation action at the Western B Divisional.
"We had real balanced scoring again and we outrebounded them more than 2-1, so that was key," Lions coach John Hammond said. "Amy Roberts led us with eight rebounds, Tish Hall had eight assists and three steals.
"Everybody got in, everybody scored."
The Lions play Darby today at 9:30 a.m. The winner of that game plays for the consolation championship tonight, then depending on who finishes second, the winner of the consolation bracket could play in a challenge game next week for a chance to get to state.
