Beverly Maxwell Harpster, 77

Beverly Maxwell Harpster, age 77, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. She was born May 5, 1927, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Thomas Norman and Reva (Ludlow) Maxwell.

She was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, until her family moved to Butte, where she graduated from Butte High School. She attended the University of Utah where she got her nursing degree. She married Harry Harpster in Elko, Nev., and they had one child, Bobby.

She was a watercolor artist of flowers and outdoor scenes. She also loved to quilt and sew dresses and other clothing for her granddaughters.

Beverly was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved her callings to serve in the church.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Tom and her son, Bobby.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Harpster of Bigfork; two sisters, Marilyn and Margaret; three brothers, Lowell, Paul and David; many grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services for Beverly Maxwell Harpster will be held Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Bigfork Ward Chapel with Bishop Jon Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Lonepine Cemetery. There will no public visitation.

Memorials made be made to the Lupus foundation.
