Among the duties performed by officers that were outside the criminal realm was a check on a worried man's grandmother, who turned out to be fine; a response to footsteps heard outside a Rosewood Drive home, where nothing suspicious was found; an assist to a man who found a homeless shelter full and needed a place to stay; checks on numerous false alarms of intruders at businesses; and responses to complaints about barking dogs.

Threats were reported on Great View Drive.

A man was arrested for DUI and other violations on Third Avenue East.

Officers counseled the people involved when a woman reported threats from her ex-husband. They also talked to a man whose wife was pulling children on a sled behind her car.

Vehicle windows were broken on Ninth Avenue West.

A woman reported that when she went to pick up her children from her ex-husband, he wasn't home, but she learned that the family was at a motel. When she went there, a pit bull wouldn't let her in.
