Doris Ann Holt, 86

Doris Ann Holt, 86, "went home to be with her Lord and Saviour" as she slept Dec. 15, 2004, at Heritage Place in Kalispell.

She was born March 31, 1918, to Oliver and Lillian (Peterson) Nelson in Burlington, Iowa. She graduated from high school in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Doris married George H. Holt, on Sept. 4, 1938, in Sioux Falls.

She was a member of the Central Bible Church in Kalispell.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, and her brother, O. Wendell Nelson, of Sun City, Ariz.

Survivors include her husband, George, at Heritage Place; her only child, a son, Greg Holt and his wife, Joan E., in Billings; her grandchildren, Eric and his wife, Kathy, of Peoria, Ariz.; Sven and his wife, Angelique, and their three children, Annika, Nathan and Katrina of Glendale, Ariz.; and Sonja and her husband, Chris Shady, and their four children, Michelle, Timothy, Daniel and Alisa of Helena; a sister, Jeanette Hay, of Sioux Falls; and a sister-in-law, Merlene Nelson, of Sun City, Ariz.; five nephews, and two nieces, and numerous grandnephews and grandnieces; and many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 10, at Central Bible Church in Kalispell.
