Gerald R. "Rusty" Cargill, 55

Gerald R. "Rusty" Cargill, 55, passed away Dec. 31, 2004, in Kalispell.

He was born Sept. 2, 1949, in Butte and attended schools in both Butte and Whitefish.

Rusty served in the U.S. Army, and then worked as an 18-wheeler truck driver, which was the love of his life. He also did concrete work.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, two aunts and an uncle.

Rusty is survived by his mother, Margaret Cargill, of Columbia Falls; and a son, Gary Frank; two sisters, Cathy Raff and husband, Dwayne, of Whitefish, and Lillie May and husband, Jay, of Poteau, Okla.; two aunts, Frances Wicen of Whitefish, and Betty Rickett of Laurel; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 7, at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
