Position open on Flathead Electric board

Flathead Electric Cooperative is taking applications for an opening on its board.

Bruce Measure resigned from the board on Dec. 22 after he was appointed to the Northwest Power and Conversation Council.

Newly elected electric cooperative president Jay Downen said the board is accepting applications from members to fill Measure's seat. The deadline is Jan. 20.

Measure's district runs from Meridian Road along Idaho Street to Shady Lane and down Willow Glen Drive. The southern edge of the district includes the South Meadows subdivision area.
