Eleanor (Littares) 'Terry' Siler, 81

Eleanor (Littares) "Terry" Siler, 81, passed away on Jan. 8, 2005, in Kalispell, of natural causes. She was born Oct. 21, 1923, in Gridley, Calif.

Terry, as she was known to her friends, spent her professional career as a registered nurse, following World War II, and earning her license in 1947. Her favorite position was that of school nurse to the children of Lockheed Elementary School on Beale Air Force Base in California.

She was married to Eldon "Si" Siler for 35 years before his passing.

Terry was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In her later years she particularly enjoyed her friends and church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon "Si" Siler; and her daughter, Carol Siler.

Terry is survived by her son, Phil Siler, of Bigfork; and grandchildren, Brian Reynolds of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Chris and wife Jennifer Siler, and great-grandchildren, Jaden and Jordan Siler, all of Kalispell.

A memorial service for Terry and her daughter, Carol Siler, who passed away on July 7, 2004, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Central Christian Church, Third Street East in Kalispell. Terry will be interred next to her late husband in California.
